Not so lucky with the weather any more. It is snowing, and apparently it will be snowing for two days. And besides the snow, the first thing I noticed after looking out the window is that the icebergs are almost gone! I saw last night how they were drifting to west so I thought the fjord could be empty by morning and sure, it’s just open water now. Glad we did the boat trip yesterday!
The activity today was … not so much. We spent the morning looking through the pictures and getting feedback and tips from the pro (Hans Strand) and then after lunch, walked around the town. Or at least I walked around the town, I left the others in the harbour to do my own exploration.
The snow was wet and melted on impact, but it was easy to protect the camera because there wasn’t much wind. Photographically speaking a bit of a downer though, but it’s good to get some of these more documentantive pictures as well, just to show what the place is like.
