Did a day trip to Stockholm to get new boots and pants for Iceland (I am still hopeful that the volcano will not spew its ashes over Europe and ground all flights). The boots I found felt really good in the store so I’m eager to take them out for a walk tomorrow!

Not a lot of people in Stockholm today (what I mean is that it’s not a lot by big city standards but it’s a whole lot by my country girl standard), it’s clear that we’re in between seasons and also, this is the last weekend before pay-day. So it was a surprisingly nice visit when I didn’t have to feel like I was being crowded out everywhere. Didn’t do any sightseeing, just went through my list of stores in search for the boots and pants and then spent the rest of the time drinking coffee at Starbucks (the picture is taken on top of the stairs next to Starbucks at Central Station).
