Just like last spring, the roe deer are spending a lot of time in the fields around the house. I see them every day now, at most it was eight of them but in recent days the biggest group has consisted of six individuals. Sometimes it’s only two, sometimes three, so I’m not sure if we only have those eight roe deer in the area and the group splits occasionally, or if it’s actually three separate groups. Anyway, this is just about the only time of the year that I can spend some decent time shooting the roe deer and I can also get close enough to create frame fillers without cropping pictures. Of course, the surroundings isn’t anything to cheer at, so I’m waiting either snowfall or nice evening light to lift the pictures instead. Today I got snowfall and sunshine in the same session!
