Last autumn when I was planting the bulbs, I had a few of them over so I just put them anywhere I could find, as unlikely as it seemed that they would survive. This ramp with rock walls is one of them, the ramp leads to a barn and the first half of the ramp is supported by rocks, as was the custom back in the day. There was a hole between the rocks so I filled it up with soil and put in 2-3 bulbs and oh joy when I saw that they survived the winter! The only problem now is that with the cold weather, nothing is happening. But today I finally saw that there is a tiny little bud coming up, so as soon as the days get warmer, I will have some flowers here. Nice!
