Leaving Iceland

We had time for some photography in the morning, but it didn’t require driving anywhere. They had Icelandic horses at the guesthouse and they were really friendly, so you could go in their paddock and then have hard time photographing them because they came right up to you to. One of them tried to eat my jacket! And every time you walked a bit further from them to get some kind of a composition, they would just follow you.

Then suddenly we got some action – two of the horses started playfighting. The only problem now was that it was black horses against white mountains, yeah that combination works every time. Not. But silhouettes are nice.

All that was left after breakfast was to make sure that everything was packed and then drive to Keflavik to take the flight home. The flight arrived about 15 mins late, and then I had the long drive back home… surprisingly, I wasn’t dead tired on the way, even thought I wasn’t at home until just after 2am.

Monday is a day off, time to rest and start going through the pictures, and maybe there’s finally time to think about the trip and everything we saw and did and all the places we visited and all the experiences, it was such an awesome trip!
