I have a problem. Ever since I realised that there is no good skiing (=skiing with photo potential) to be done in Föne, I totally lost interest in it. I’m not going on walks either, unless it’s clear skies with a chance of aurora, obviously… So, I’ve become passive and lazy and I’m probably gaining weight. Not good. But I’m too lazy to be bothered.

In order to cure my winter blues, I bought some flowers (that’s a first!) that I could shoot indoors. I’m not impressed. Shooting flowers under controlled circumstances should be easy. But it’s not. I couldn’t think of anything sensible so I took the same old cliché shots I always do, except without the pleasure of finding something pristine and beautiful in the nature. But the effort was not completely wasted, now I know I don’t have to buy any flowers again. There’s pollen on them and I’m very nearly having hay fever in January, that’s another first.

So the highlight of the day has to be the group of seven roe deer down in the field. Normally it’s only two or three that I see walk across the field, so seven was a big surprise!
