The morning was sunny, and I didn’t feel that I needed pictures of icebergs in that light so I did a walk around town. Nice walk, but I really don’t get any photography done in urban environments.
In the afternoon we walked to the same spot we already visited on Saturday, but this time we went a bit further on the trail. It was a bit so-and-so, I mostly worked with the long lens and shot way too many pictures of a fishing boat among the icebergs. On the way back, I noticed that Christian had taken a different route and with no better ideas in my mind, I followed. It turned out to be a long(ish) hike on the cliffs and as luck would have it, I got a bit of good light as well. No sunshine, but just… good light for this landscape. And now I was really happy – I felt that I was getting the best pictures of the trip so far! But the light changes quickly and suddenly there were a few snowflakes in the air as well, so I just needed to figure out how to get back to the hotel because I had a mountain between me and Ilulissat. But no problems with it, it was just simply another highlight of the vacation alongside the boat trip and helicopter ride!
