Ljusnan is freezing surprisingly fast. Well at least I’m surprised… it’s only been a few days with freezing temperatures but already there’s only a narrow strip of open water left, with quite a fast flow. The slabs of ice on the shore never completely melted away during the thaw but the river was most definitely wide open a week ago. Smoothing out the movement of the ice chunks in the water took 1.6 seconds.
