Well that was it, the last skiing of the season. Sure I still have tomorrow here at the cabin, but after four days of skiing I’m done. As I mentioned yesterday, I’m not exactly super trained and I think I was more tired after today’s 15km trip than I was after Thursday’s 15km trip. But it was good while it lasted!

I had no major plans for today, just ski up to Kappruskaftet again and explore a different part of it than I did on Thursday. It was overcast – sort of. The cloud cover was complete but it was thin enough for the sun to shine through, casting just a little bit of a shadow. Very difficult light to work with, so all I could do was to ski from one tree to the next one and hope to find some interesting detail. Luckily, there’s no shortage of interesting trees on Kappruskaftet! And yet, somehow I ended up with my favourite birch again. Funny that.
