Well it was bound to happen, the way the weather had been. The mountain tops were covered with snow, this is the first time I’ve seen this in the summertime. Normally I feel lucky if I even see it in September!

The snow was melting fast though – it only took a few minutes for the snow to disappear on Ånnfjället (first picture) when the sun made an appearance. The first glimpse I had of Ånnfjället, there was a lot more snow. By the time I was in a good shooting position, the snow cap was almost gone.
