I’m busy going through my checklist for the trip coming up in a week. It’s not just clothes and a toothbrush, but all the food as well – and that’s a lot of food, as I’m finding out. Everything gets weighed and if the pack is getting too heavy, then I just have to leave something out. You can buy food in the cabins but it’s not exactly retail prices, so I will have to figure out what hurts more, carrying or paying. But the good thing about food (besides eating it) is that the pack will get lighter every day!

And then the most important question. How much chocolate should I bring?
