Wow. We had an earthquake today! The whole house rattled in the afternoon, at first I thought it was a big truck that drove past, but the road is too far for it, so then I thought that the remaining snow on the roof fell… before I had analysed it further, the movie I was watching drew me back in and I forgot about it. Until now when I saw on Facebook that people were talking about an earthquake and sure enough, it was at least a 2-pointer on the Richter scale. I’ve been in California and other earthquake prone places in North America but never experienced a quake, which I’m not complaining about because I firmly believe that the ground under my feet should be solid!
