A five day weekend. I’ll take that. We have lots of snow now and the weather has been perfect for skiing and more and more snowmobiles are out as well, so I have some trails to follow. I haven’t gotten around to getting a trail map yet so I’ve just followed whatever tracks I’ve found. Photographically speaking though, I’m not coming up with anything good. The trails in Loos were much more photogenic, only problem was that after 7 years of doing them I had pretty much taken every picture there is to take. Right now I’m pinning my hopes on Mon (the flood plains). As soon as the river ice will hold, I know that the snowmobiles will get down there and then for sure I will find something to shoot (not the snowmobiles though!).

So today I had a go at the birds again. I was very excited to see bullfinches at the feeder yesterday (never got bullfinches in Loos) so I hope I can catch one of them. I didn’t see them today though, but I still have 3 days to try it!
