Tripod

For only the second time this summer, I used my three-legged friend. The first time, incidentally, was at Livsäterån in early June, and today I was at Livsäterån again. I’ve probably said this before, but it felt good to be using the tripod and a 10-stop ND filter. I’ve been in snapshot mode all summer and was kind of losing faith in my skills, which is perhaps me being unduly harsh on myself because if I don’t even give myself a chance to take good pictures, then what can I expect? I’m not trying to say that using a tripod and ND filter makes me a good photographer, but what I’m saying is that it makes me feel like a real photographer!

I’m almost sure that I’ve taken a picture of every waterfall Livsäterån has to offer, but the way they look depends on the season, weather and the amount of water. So you can’t really take two identical pictures in the same spot, which gives me great comfort – I can keep coming back here!
