I’ve been laying low after the intensive week in Scotland. The trip gave me a reason to start seriously thinking about my photography, what do I want from it and where am I going with it? It has a lot to do with expectation levels and without going into details at the moment, I decided to throw away all expectations so currently my preferred camera is the Lumix because it’s easier to be in snapshot mode with a compact than a system camera.
In other news, we finally have winter! The first snow fell last week, it wasn’t much but it was enough to turn everything white. Then early this week we got a small snowstorm which transformed the landscape so we now have almost 20cm of snow. I’m even thinking about taking out my skis but there’s not enough snow for going off trail in the forest yet, but it sure looks good!
