The HDR tool in Lightroom does a pretty decent job. I was working on a new idea on Monday, it didn’t quite work out as planned because the clouds wouldn’t co-operate but then I thought, fine, if Mother Nature gives me clouds, then I shoot clouds. Bracketed 5 shots with 1 stop intervals, ran it through LR’s HDR Photo Merge and did some minor highlight/shadow adjustments and it’s ok. But I just wish that my original idea had worked… because now it looks like the next time I can try it is next August!
