Memories from today

Fulfilled one of my longtime plans and cycled the Mittåkläppsvägen road from Bruksvallarna to Djupdalsvallen (and beyond). Emphasis was on cycling, not photo, so I was in snapshot mode. I almost never do this, but this time I wanted to take pictures to show what the day was like and not worry about the light or the wind or the clear blue sky!

What a nice day it was. Even though I saw the first signs of autumn around the corner, this was one of the best summer days during this miserable summer we’ve had this year!

trail biking
Got to do a bit of trail biking as well, on my way to Vitäggen (the ridge in the Mittån valley)
Best waffles ever!
And here’s the reward for all the hard work! Best waffles ever!
flag
As you can see from the flag, it was quite windy today. But for once the wind was from the right direction – it was helping me uphill on the way here!

Another look at the pointy end of Stor-Mittåkläppen. Still a bit of snow left!

my bike
I almost forgot to take a picture of my bike!
Cottongrass
Cottongrass at Messmörtjärnen. This part of the lake was a little bit protected from the wind, otherwise all water surfaces were hopelessly broken.
