Quick visit

Made a record short trip to the cabin. I had to make sure that the gutters were not blocked by fallen leaves because when I left in September, there was still plenty of leaves in the trees. But as it turned out, there’s been a lot of wind and gutters were clean. I had a brief chat with my neighbours and then headed back home, but took the scenic route.

It’s a foggy day but the fog seems to be very much depending on the altitude. By the time I reached Messlingen, I actually even had a bit of blue sky and Blåstöten was visible, except for the very top. It has been snowing – the mountain was all white.

When I got closer to Funäsdalen, I saw the fog again. Luckily I had the Mega-Tamron with me because I needed the full 600mm reach to shoot the tree tops.

And then I was down in the fog again. I drove to Tännfallet which we visited in the summer but had to leave because of rain, so now I could explore them a bit better. But somehow it wasn’t so good now and then the sun came out as well, which made it more difficult because the best spot I found was looking downstream which meant that I had the sun on my face. Heading home, I took the road south from Tännäs, I like this road and always expect to find some photo opportunities although I almost never do. But I haven’t given up hope yet.
