Done painting – almost. I finished with the first coat by lunchtime, packed my stuff and drove home. I’m looking forward to sitting in the office tomorrow, I need the rest! Not so easy to go from sit-in-front-of-the-computer-all-day to balance-on-a-ladder-and-paint-all-day.
As you can see, the paint is not entirely even. Just like it was with the walls, I have to allow myself some mistakes because this is quite simply the first time I’m doing anything like this. And anyway, I will be able to cover up many of the mistakes when I apply the second coat. And hopefully I will have time to remove the wonky thermometer because it was annoying me before, but now with this half a cover of paint, it’s driving me nuts!
