I can see the benefit of having a pet… someone to greet me at the door when I come home. On the other hand, it sounds like a lot of responsibility, I can’t even have flowers indoors – I gave up on that when a couple of cacti died on me. The flowers I have in the garden at least have half a chance because sometimes it rains.

Anyway, I don’t need pets when I have a fox, which once again was hunting in the field when I came home. Or actually, it was just sitting there. I went inside, switched lenses on the camera, went out to the balcony – it was still sitting. After a few frames, I decided try to from the ground because the balcony is quite high, so I sneaked to the edge of the field and the fox still didn’t see me or didn’t care. But after a while, it either noticed me or had enough of the constant clicking of the camera and trotted off, leaving me wondering how I could make it tolerate me a bit more. I think it will require some sausages…
